ScrapCamp

Whether you call it Scrap Camp, Scrapbook Retreat, Scrapbook Getaway, Scrap Away, Scrapbooking Weekend or any other name for that matter, we hold them and have been doing so for some years now (we are up to ScrapCamp number 19).

Our ScrapCamps are held roughly 3 times per year, usually in the middle weekend of school holidays around April 'Regular Customer' Camp, July 'Regular Customer' Camp and Sept/Oct, Big 'Open' Camp (open to all).  They are loads of fun - (just read some of the reviews from previous campers) and are excellent value for money, currently at just $160.00-Regular Customer Camps/$175-Big Open Camps for Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon.  (Regular Customer - for the purpose of camp, is a customer who is regularlry purchasing a reasonable quantity of supplies and/or who regularly attends Friday night crops/weekend workshops)This includes:

Accommodation: Thursday - Sunday, in bunk rooms in a local scout camp. We have always said we'd rather spend more of our money on our supplies rather than on the accommodation itself, so we keep it simple and cheap, but the camp has just had loads of work done, including being fully repainted inside.

Meals:  No scrimping here - we provide yummy filling meals.
Breakfasts Fri-Sat -  Bacon, eggs, hasbrowns and toast. Sun  - Pancakes
Lunches Fri-Sat - Wraps with hot roast chicken and a variety of self service fillings like cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, may etc.  Sun, all the above, plus everything else is laid out for you to feast on.
Dinners Fri-Always a scrumptious meal, which changes each camp.  We've had: Gourmet pizza's; Wine Braised beef with herby dumplings; Schnitzels wraps with cheesey potatoes; Thai curry; Lasagne; Pork Parmigiana to name just a few. Sat - Is always a roast lamb with loads of yummy roast veges and lashings of delish gravy and there is always dessert on the menu as well.

Use Of tools:
Free use of all Caz Dezign non electronic tools, including sizzix dies, cutting mats, punches, shape templates, idea books and anything else on the tool table, plus access to a computer, a printer and an electronic die cutting machine (small printing/cutting charges apply).

Demos, Prizes, Giveaway's and challenge supplies:
We play fun games at camp, like Scrapbook Bingo, Guess how many embellishments in the jar, Scrapbook Charades etc and there are always prizes.  At the Big Open camps, we also demo new products or tools people want to see how to use and often have giveaways or make 'n' takes set up.  We also have an 'optional' free ScrapCamp challenge and supplies for this are included at no extra charge.

Supplies Shop
We bring a good range of our supplies along to camp for your convenience, including Bazzill cardstock, Papers, Embellishments, Rub Ons, Brads, Eyelets etc and general supplies such as refills and adhesives.  As always, these are at our competitive prices and we always have something going as a 'Camp special'.  You should however feel free to bring whatever supplies you already have and wish to use.
